Banana Island Doha required some 375 square metres of wet-area surround. Ten workers had to bring materials via a 20-minute boat ride to the island, level the concrete site and pour the PolySoft to a thickness of eight to ten millimetres — a project that took six days to complete. Says Mortada, “The client is totally satisfied,” with the effect and the utility of the surface, which is seamless, hygienic and easy to maintain.
“Its appeal, as shown by these two applications in the one resort, is ageless.”
“This project shows the holiday face of PolySoft: it’s fun, while being discreetly and reliably safe,” says PolySoft CEO, Ophelia Zhu. “Its appeal, as shown by these two applications in the one resort, is ageless.”
PolySoft also cushions landings in high-profile children’s precincts from Singapore to Manhattan, and back to Canberra. An Australian-developed and produced product, PolySoft is 100 per cent recyclable and derives 40 per cent of its materials from natural resources.
